Community Service Brigade

I formed ‘Vishwa Shah’s Community Service Brigade’ and with the help of our team members, we collected unused medicines from different resources. We handed these over to the Bhavnagar Red cross, Bhavnagar Drug Bank and to the Community Health Centers of the slum areas of Bhavnagar. On my own initiative, I also helped raise funds for the Bhavnagar Drug bank to help them reach more than 30K patients annually. I inspired more than 10 persons to contribute towards supporting the “Water & Sanitation” project of Rotary International & the ‘Sight-first’ project of Lions Club International.

I have also organized three awareness camps & interacted with people suffering from Thalassemia. In my workshops, I spoke about ‘Advisable Food Habits’ and distributed printed hand-outs among the patients and their parents as ready-reference on the subject.

I am an active member of ‘Bhagini Mandal for Vaccine Center’ activities and ‘Shishu Kuposhan’ where we distribute food to underprivileged children. We also help them understand the importance of healthy food & hygiene.

I am also responsible for driving the project to build washrooms for girl students and provide new study tables for the classrooms, in Kanya Vidyalaya, a government- run School
